Rain Date 2/26/17
RPC Airsoft World Tour airsoft games are held exclusively in Fremont, New Hampshire, less than an hour from Boston, MA and Portland, ME!
This year, three famous battles will be fought and re-fought via airsoft in New Hampshire:
Bastogne, Long Tan, Shanghai
The 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 RPC Airsoft World Tours continue to be successful with airsoft BBs flying over frozen WWII battles like Stalingrad, Moscow, Finland & Winnipeg to AEGs blazing like the heat of Mogadishu, Guadalcanal & Haiti. The muggy heat of Hue, Long Tan, Binh Ba, Nam Dong & Pak Song challenged Namsofters and the infamous Sarajevo, Ortona, Shiloh, Chosin Reservoir & Nova Scotia brought unique airsoft battles not normally seen by airsoft teams anywhere else in New England! Airsoft players from NH, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut and the rest of the northeast region have visited Fremont, NH to play airsoft at the World Tour games. The 2017 World Tour is looking to not only continue that success, but exceed it with new missions, more buildings, improved roads, denser brush and even bigger firefights with this years games revisting some of the original World Tour battles.
Per tradition, we started off with some winter World War II airsoft featuring a European Theater of Operations from World War Two with airsofters portraying either Allied or Axis soldiers for the Battle of Bastogne. The next airsoft war now moves to Southeast Asia and a little Namsoft based on the height of the Vietnam War, when the ANZACS meet a massive onslaught of Communist forces at the Battle of Long Tan. The final battle of the 2015 RPC Airsoft World Tour falls back through time and again enters the era where nations clash as American GIs face off against battle hardened Axis force in our final airsoft war Op game of the year, based on the Battle of Shanghai.
The Airsoft Triage Tracking system (or ATTS) system will be used for this event under ESCALATING DAMAGE RULES! RPC Airsoft games are high volume firefights over mutually desired objectives and territory. The greenery has not arrived, therefore, firefights can get extremely brutal due to dense thin cover and close range! Don't rely on a rag to do your talking. Constantly notifying live players of your dead status via voice is highly encouraged this time of year! If you are using a dead rag, it must be BLAZE ORANGE.
The Siege of Bastogne was a merciless battle between Allied and Axis forces at the Belgian town of Bastogne. The goal of the larger Von Rundstedt Offensive was the harbor at Antwerp. In order to reach it before the Allies could regroup and bring their superior air power to bear, German forces had to seize the roadways through eastern Belgium. Because all seven main roads in the Ardennes mountain range converged on the small town of Bastogne, control of its crossroads was vital to the German attack. The siege lasted for seven bloody days before the besieged Allied forces were relieved.
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTSRPC Airsoft World Tour ops, this one included, are themed events, not a true re-enactment. The op, missions and props are based on the actual historical battles and we love to see folks get “into it”!
It is suggested that players dress in theme, but it is not required!
Similarly, it is suggested loadouts/armaments be in theme, but is not required!
If you feel like going out and grabbing some themed guns and gear, with some forethought, you can get some base gear from various New England airsoft retailers that will travel through time very well for other future World Tour events. Don't forget our local New England airsoft folks for gear at:
X-Fire Paintball & Airsoft
Charlie Company Army Navy
Don't forget this is a February game, read: COLD - Dress for the cold, wind and wet in layers.
Dress code for the game is as follows:
Axis Forces: Green, Gray, Black & White Urban Uniforms as well as period specific* Impressions not using modern gear. Red Tape may also be used for optional addition to IFF on upper arms and headgear.
Allies: Tan, Brown & All White Unforms as well as period specific* Impressions not using modern gear. Green Tape may also be used for optional addition to IFF on upper arms and headgear.
*Please note that if your uniform crosses the color code and is not a period specific impression (looks like doesn't count), you'll be taped. Heavily!
Gates open at 9AM. First mission is set to roll at 11AM. Last mission will be ending around 5PM. Please give parents or rides notice that we sometimes run a little over at World tour ops and plan accordingly.
Due to the numbers we expect, we suggest you do not show up at 10:30 and expect to just jump in with a squad and go. Also, please note that due to local ordinances, arriving early does not mean you may park on the street waiting for gates to open!
Look for more game info and intel in the weeks to come and especially as the game draws nearer here and on the official Facebook event page!
